About me

Željko Čorkalo

I was born in Šibenik, where I also graduated from high school. I grew up in Tisno, where I now live again. In between I spent almost 25 years in Vienna. In 2021 I completed my tourist guide training and I have a license to work in the Šibenik-Knin and Zadar area.

I enjoy introducing interested visitors to my native town and the area where I grew up. I also like to talk about the customs of the region, the everyday life of the people and their stories.

In my free time I spend a lot of time in nature, I enjoy hiking and discovering unknown places and I like to capture the beauty around me in photos. I have a special passion for my olive groves, which have a great emotional value for me and are an inexhaustible source of strength.

I offer the following tours. Some of them are very easy, some of them challenging but all of them are very informative. You can also create your own tour which matches your needs and wishes

Tisno – Tour

Get to know your holiday destination better! Guided tour of the town with a visit to the most important sights! Palaces, churches, narrow streets, old oil presses, beautiful viewpoints – this walk takes you through the history of Tisno, which has more to offer than what meets the eye.

Tour times: all year round, in summer in the mornings or evenings
Difficulty: easy
Duration: 1,5 hours
Cost: € 13,- per person, free for children under 12
Requirements: minimum four participants

Tisno-Jezera Sightseeing Tour

Get to know Tisno and Jezera from a different perspective! You climb three hills and learn lots of interesting facts about the area. Enjoy the view over the islands and the Adriatic, walk along old paths and let yourself be surprised!

Tour times: all year round, in summer in the mornings or evenings
Difficulty: medium
Duration: 1,5 hours
Cost: € 17,- per person, free for children under 12
Requirements: minimum four participants

Five Hills Tour

This special tour takes you to five hills offers you spectacular views in all directions, combined with lots of information about the island of Murter, people and culture. Discover the wonderful area while walking on country lanes and old paths. A tour for motivated hikers and curious explorers!

Difficulty: demanding
Duration: 3 hours
Costs: € 24,- per person, participation of children only on request (free of charge)
Requirements: minimum four participants

Guided City Tours & Day Trips

Are you interested in discovering more places in the area? I would be happy to accompany you to Šibenik, Knin, Zadar, Nin, the city of Pag, to the Krka, Kornati and Paklenica national parks, to the Vransko jezero and Telašćica nature parks, as well as to the archaeological sites of the Ancient Roman settlements Asseria, Varvaria and Burnum.

I also organize individual tours according to your needs and wishes.
